Steve has implemented employee learning and development programs in three countries. This has included facilitating strategic planning and cultural change initiatives in large international firms. He has designed and implemented on-site training programs and developed assessment systems to measure and manage individual competency development. He has conducted numerous team mediations and conflict resolutions, building healthy teams that can produce quality business outcomes.
Steve is highly regarded as a speaker at international forums on leadership development, executive health, conflict resolution, work-life balance, and systems thinking. He has worked in a range of organisational development roles in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Some of his clients include Solution 6, Coca-Cola, QBE, Ernst & Young, & MBF. He is currently a coach and mentor to senior business leaders at CEO level in Australia and New Zealand.
Dr. Smith is completing his second Ph.D in Executive Learning and Leadership Development at the University of Sydney. His current doctorate specialises in Knowledge Management and Organisational Development. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and has various other qualifications in counselling, education and sociology. His membership affiliations include: the Australian Sociology Society, the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Counselling Association, and the Australian Institute of Management.
