Facilitation

Today's pressures:
- The need to resolve disputes constructively
- Maximising the benefits of diversity
- Reducing the cost of litigation
We have accredited mediators with the Australian Commercial Disputes
Centre in Sydney.
Our mediation process
Our 7-Step process to reach resolution:
- Introduction
- Opening statements by both parties summarised by the facilitator
- Identifying issues and setting an agenda
- Exploring issues
- Finding solutions that are mutually acceptable
- Committing to actions and reality testing outcomes
- Documenting the agreement.
In addition to assisting two disputing parties directly, we have found
mediation to be a useful tool in many areas of our work including Business
Improvement, Change Management, Community Consultation and Evaluation
and Review, where individuals are trying to managing competing interests
and competing priorities.
Our mediation training
We offer a course in Mediation Skills. This course is 3 days plus,
where required, additional time for assessment of competencies.
